The future? Education and regulation
This event in the series 'Menschliche Erkentnis in der Ära künstlicher Intelligenz' took place on the 15th February 2025.

Artificial intelligence for natural health?
This event in the series 'Menschliche Erkentnis in der Ära künstlicher Intelligenz' took place on the 18th January 2025.

"Ensemble parameter estimation: conditioning models on dynamic data"
The talk and crash-course by Prof. Geir Evensen took place on December 11th and 12th 2024, at the Oeschger Center for Climate Change Research.
The Ensemble Kalman Filter and related methods that Geir Evensen have pioneered echo with many developments in machine learning around state/parameter estimation and model updating.

The dark side of power? Hallucinations, Fake News, Propaganda
This event in the series 'Menschliche Erkentnis in der Ära künstlicher Intelligenz' took place on the 23rd November 2024.
Prof. Dr. Rückert has shown us how AI has already transformed the acquisition, analysis and interpretation of radiological images and how large-scale AI models (so-called foundation models or large language models) can also transform other areas in medicine and healthcare. Furthermore, he discussed how AI solutions can preserve privacy while also providing trustworthy and explainable solutions for clinicians.
On the website of the 'People in Digital Transformation' lecture series you can find a video of the presentation.
